This painting is in a body of work in homage to the illustrator Kenneth Paul Block.
She represents a mature model who does not escape the lines of time and experience.
She has acquired a certain soul-full grace and maintains her dignity which allows us to see only her beauty. Clutching a vintage evening purse from a runway life, we are reminded of emotions that each of us pour into memorabilia of passing glamour. She is dignified and resolved.
